God is a patient God

God is patient with us he waits for us to come to him and leads  us in the right direction He is in control all the time.  He is a loving God and knows what we need in the right timing God loves us know matter where we are at in life and that is pretty awesome thank you God for everything you have done for all of us for being there for when we need you.

Isaiah 41:10

Don't be afraid for I am with you don't be discouraged for I am your God I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

Matthew 28:20

And be sure of this I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Psalm 27:10 NLT 

Even if my father and mother abandon me the Lord will hold me close.


Prayer:  Dear God thank you for loving us when we don't deserve it you are always there to help us through our struggles by giving us hope and having faith in you by trusting that everything will be ok you know what we need each day and we are never alone In Jesus name Amen!!!

My Epilepsy Story

Hope in the Midst of Struggle Hi my name is Kate Schroeder I am 25 years old and I am a christian believer. I have 2 older brothers, 2 beautiful sister in laws, 3 nieces and a nephew and of course mom & dad.  The things I love to do is travel to different places with my family.  We all Enjoy camping in the mountains, sitting by the campfire, trail riding, and swimming. I like to read christian books, and have been learning sign language.  I have had epilepsy since I was 5. At first my parents didn't know what it was. I had my first EEG done and the journey began. I was diagnosed with complex partial seizures. Over the next 5 years I would try many different medications. During this time it made school hard for me. Between the medications and seizures it was hard for me to learn and make friends.  At the age of 10 my parents started looking for different options. Our choices were the VNS or brain surgery.
